Every stone on the bridge had a story to tell about its travelers through the centuries. As we stood there observing it, we could imagine all the different chariots and caravans that would have passed through it, maybe making their way to the sea, and then proceeding to Italy or Greece by ship. It would be no surprise if some bold English traveler of the 18th century even passed through it. But then the barking of a dog from a nearby house made us snap back into reality; the bridge, as interesting as it was, was not our final destination. It was time for us to continue our journey to the waterfall.

The Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër in Albanian) is a water spring and initial water source of the Bistricë, a 25 km long river which ends in the Ionian Seat just south of Saranda. The source is a natural phenomenon with a depth of at least 50 meters, the deepest any diver has been able to go, so the actual depth is even unknown.

The combination of the sea , blue sky, mountains,the forest and wonders of mother nature,make our trip more fun and positive.We sum these up in a single unique trip, which starts from the city of Saranda to Albanian Riviera toward the village of Piqeras. Bistrica River springs from Mali i Gjere and stretches for 25km. From the source to the delta(to the Ionian Sea). passes by dettements such as the Blue Eye,Vergo,Finiq,Mesopotam,Metoq and Cuke. The entire course of the river is accompanied by a small jungle full of oxygen and gives peace of mind.
